Eric Hein, LPTA

Eric has been working as a Physical Therapy Assistant since 2016. He previously worked in multiple skilled nursing homes in geriatric field and home health before joining the Virginian team. Before becoming a physical therapist assistant, Eric worked as a healthcare aide for memory care unit and has experience taking care of elderly patients with dementia and Alzheimer’s disease. Eric has also worked as a clinical tech with INOVA Alexandria in 2015, receiving experience in working at a hospital.

 Working in the healthcare is his passion and is a rewarding experience. He believes there is nothing else more rewarding than helping a patient walk or stand for the first time in days or months of debilitating injury or disease. Their first expression of their shock, happiness and disbelief in their eyes that they are finally recovering, is something to be cherished.

 Other than therapy, Eric considers himself a nerd at heart who loves gaming, watch anime and a computer geek.
