Cancer prevention means taking an active approach to minimize the likelihood of developing cancer. It is an essential strategy which considers the wide-ranging effects of cancer on individuals and society. From the emotional toll on families to the strain on healthcare resources, prevention plays a critical role in promoting well-being and reducing the burden of the disease.
