What do Senior Exercise Specialist's do?
• provide specialized exercise programs to cater to the unique needs of the aging population
• skilled training in providing modifications to decrease risk of injury during training and to increase strength, endurance, flexibility and balance goals with clients who may have pre-existing injuries and/or neurological conditions
• continues to develop exercise programs with the client with routine assessments to determine client's goals and progress
• works with the client to achieve their goals with considerations of their health history and personal preferences
• works with the client to find the "just right" level of challenge to obtain long-term change success
• ability to collaborate with your health care providers to ensure a team approach in helping you age in place
